After the adventurous Cross Turismo version, the Porsche Taycan is again available in an estate version. Called the Taycan Sport Turismo, this model is actually a variant intended to “combine the versatility” of the Taycan Cross Turismo “with the driving dynamics of the sports sedan”. More civilized, the Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo still shares common points with the Cross Turismo, starting with its shooting station wagon silhouette, its roof line leaning towards the rear and even increased roominess compared to the sedan.

The height under the roof of this electric break is indeed increased by 4.5 centimeters at the rear compared to the sedan version, while the volume of the trunk is pushed to 446 liters with the Audio Plus pack and 405 liters on the versions. Turbo, equipped with a Bose audio system. With the rear seats folded down, these models can enjoy a cargo volume of 1,212 and 1,171 liters respectively.

The Taycan Sport Turismo also receives an unprecedented option: a panoramic roof with variable occultation, called Sunshine Control. Its glazed surface is divided into nine segments which can be controlled individually to vary the brightness of the passenger compartment. In the equipment register, buyers will be able to find a remote parking aid, which allows the electric station wagon to be parked without being installed on board.

In terms of engines, Porsche will first offer the Sport Turismo in its powerful GTS version, from the end of February 2022. This is equipped with an electric motor developing 598 hp (440 kW) with overboost. and all-wheel drive. Other versions will then arrive in March 2022, such as the base Sport Turismo developing 408 hp (300 kW) with overboost or 476 hp (350 kW) with the Performance Plus package. It is only offered in rear-wheel drive. In the mid-range, customers will be able to opt for a Taycan 4S Sport Turismo with 530 hp (390 kW) with overboost or 571 hp (420 kW) with the Performance Plus package. The range will be capped by Turbo Sport Turismo and Turbo S Sport Turismo versions, announced at 680 hp (500 kW) and 761 hp (500 kW) respectively.

This Taycan Turbo S Sport Turismo – the most powerful version of the break – would be able to shoot down 0 to 100 km / h in 2.8 seconds, reach a maximum speed of 260 km / h, and travel 498 kilometers in a single charge according to the WLTP homologation cycle. It would therefore be the greatest autonomy of the Sport Turismo range. Porsche indicates that the two batteries offered on this model “allow you to go from 5 to 80% charge level in 22 minutes and 30 seconds” precisely. Five minutes of recharging would offer 100 kilometers of autonomy to its future drivers.

The Porsche Taycan Sport Turismo will be available from €89,324, i.e. €960 more than the Taycan in sedan version, and €9,240 less than the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo.
