The African Football Confederation unveiled, yesterday January 12, the date of the next CAN (2023). Côte d’Ivoire will host the 34th edition of the competition in summer, from June 23 to July 23.
CAF would have learned from this CAN 2022, which aroused the reluctance of a lot of European clubs, these, not wanting to release their players in the middle of the season. The next African Cup of Nations in 2023 will therefore take place in the summer. Côte d’Ivoire will organize the tournament between June 23 and July 23, 2023.
On the occasion, the federating body of African football also communicated the dates of the holding of other continental competitions of the same year. Thus Algeria will be hosting the CHAN from 8 to 31 January 223 and the CAN U17 from 8 to 30 April.
