The Canucks very interested in … Marc Bergevin!
Vancouver Canucks are said to be very interested in Marc Bergevin for GM title, reported The Hockey News, Monday.
Hours earlier, the BC organization announced the sackings of GM Jim Benning and head coach Travis Green.
Bergevin, for his part, was removed from his post by the Montreal Canadiens on November 28.
The Canucks cleaned up after losing 4-1 to the Pittsburgh Penguins on Saturday night.
For the time being, Stan Smyl is serving as GM on an acting basis, while Bruce Boudreau has been appointed as Chief Instructor.
