The Black Panthers of Thonon-les-Bains and the Flash of La Courneuve face each other in the final of the French Championship

Lille should have hosted the Diamond Helmet final from 2020 to 2022. But the first two editions were canceled due to Covid and, this season, work is underway, with a view to the Rugby World Cup and the Games 2024 Olympics. Thonon and its 3,000-seat stadium therefore finally inherited the final.

At home, the Black Panthers will however be considered as … the visitors. The La Courneuve Flash finished ahead of them during the regular season and will therefore play with their colors «  and on the side of the main stand, in the shade, which is an interesting advantage and which will disturb the supporters of Thonon “, declared Bruno Lacam-Caron.
