This has been the subject of several conversations revolving around the Canadiens for the past few weeks: what will be the choice of the organization when it comes to the podium to speak first in the draft on July 7 at the Bell Centre?
Will it be center Shane Wright, the top-rated prospect, or will the organization take a risk with big Slovakian winger Juraj Slafkovsky?
In any case, the latter would be happy to wear the colors of CH and play in front of his many passionate supporters.
“They like to win and me too, it would be a good alliance,” he told our colleague Anthony Martineau during the NHL “combine” a few days ago.
“I’m ready for the NHL, I’m able to play good hockey and score some goals, be creative. I’m strong and robust too, I can hit,” explained the 18-year-old winger, who sees himself very well completing a line in Montreal with Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield.
