Terrible news for a Frenchman, at the worst of times!
Only a few hours before the start of the season, the 30 franchises in the league find themselves obliged to purify their workforce, and therefore to part with certain players. Unfortunately, this is the fate that an international tricolor has just experienced.
No more preparation matches with almost zero stakes, it’s time for the real action. The NBA pre-season officially ended on Friday, and will give way in a few hours to the long-awaited Opening Night. Before that, the various teams must reduce their workforce to meet the quota of 15 players under guaranteed contract imposed by the league. A fatal process for many players, including the French.
End of the dream for Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot at the Suns
Unlike a Theo Maledon, who has just found a team at the best of times, Killian Tillie learned this Saturday that he had not been kept by the Grizzlies. Same disappointment for Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot, who arrived in Phoenix on September 24, and who will not be playing the start of the season with the franchise, as Kellan Olson of arizona sports :
Suns have waived Adonis Arms, Saben Lee and Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot.
None of the training camp invites were able to get the open roster spot. Suns hold that with the pair of two-way guys for a total of 16 players.

The Suns have just parted ways with Adonis Arms, Saben Lee and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot.
A choice that may surprise on the part of the Suns, who had rather enough to be satisfied with the services of TLC in recent days. Slightly clumsy, the tricolor winger still shot 8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 assists in 20 minutes of play in his three preseason appearances. A production that was obviously not enough in the eyes of its leaders, which did not fail to astonish PHX fans on the networks:
Little surprised about TLC

A little surprised about TLC
TLC seems like someone that should be on the roster…hopefully they have plans for that roster spot

TLC had the makings of a roster member… I hope the leaders have a good plan in mind for his remaining roster spot.
Author of a rather solid pre-season, Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot did not seem to have convinced the Suns enough to keep his place there. All that remains is to hope that another team will have been seduced by its performance!
