Tampa Bay, winner of Game 5 in New York, nears the final

The Lightning, double defending champion, is very close to playing a third straight final in the NHL play-offs. Thanks in particular to the Russian Mikhail Sergachev, he won (3-1) Thursday at the New York Rangers to take the advantage (3-2) in the series.

There is only one victory left in Tampa Bay to win the Eastern Conference final and then try to retain the Stanley Cup against the Colorado Avalanche, the last survivor of the Western games. The next game will take place at home on Saturday in Florida, where he has lost only one game in these play-offs.

Amounts delayed due date

At Madison Square Garden, the Lightning repeatedly found their way to the uprights, which pushed the puck away, giving the Rangers a reprieve. Which even found a way to open the scoring in the middle of the second period, by Ryan Lindgren.

Tampa took only seven minutes to recover, thanks to Mikhail Sergachev, who not only equalized but also set up the second goal for his team two minutes from the siren, his long shot having been slightly deflected by Ondrej Palat.

Going for broke New York pulled out their goaltender to add a sixth outfielder, but were blocked by Brandon Hagel, who completed his team’s crucial victory in the dying seconds.
