Talensac. Three hikes offered this Sunday, September 11. Sport

The Ille-et-Vilaine departmental hiking committee is offering an afternoon of hiking on the marked trails of La Talensac (Ille-et-Vilaine), Sunday September 11, 2022. Each year, as part of a national partnership with France Blue, we are organizing a free event that is acclaimed by the public who are increasingly attracted to outdoor physical and sports activities. This year, we chose Talensac. With 27 million practitioners, hiking is the most practiced sportexplains Jeanne-Marie Guillou, development manager at the French Hiking Federation 35.

The departmental committee thus offers three circuits to choose from, suitable for all audiences, departing from the Eminescu esplanade, from 2 p.m. The 4 km circuit (departure at 3 p.m.) will offer a hike to discover the Talensac countryside with entertainment provided by Michel Riou, environmental educator at the Eau et Rivières de Bretagne association.

The 8 km circuit (departure at 2:30 p.m.) is supported by the radio France Blue and the 12 km circuit (departure at 2 p.m.) is that of Val-Beuzet, recently published in the topoguide Brocéliande on foot. It is an opportunity to discover the outcrops of red schist typical of Brocéliande.

Online registration is preferred to facilitate the organization of the event with volunteers from the link www.helloasso.com/associations/comite-departemental-de-randonnee-pedestre-d-ille-et-vilaine/evenements /hiking-in-talensac-france-bleu.

On-site registration is also possible 15 minutes before the start of the chosen hike.

Our event has received the Feel Sport label as part of the national campaign to promote sport for all, organized by the French National Olympic and Sports Committee. The objective is to encourage the French to practice physical activity and sport. The Montfort association JoAillettes35 will be present on the 12 km circuit. Thanks to the joëlette, anyone with reduced mobility can take part in all-terrain hikes, inaccessible to a conventional wheelchair. The joëlette is an all-terrain wheelchair that allows people with disabilities to go hiking with the help of two companions. One at the back for the balance of the joëlette and the other at the front to pull”,further specifies Jeanne-Marie Guillou.
