Super League: Giovanni Sio returns to Sion – rts.ch
Giovanni Sio is back at FC Sion. The Ivorian born in France signed a contract in Valais valid until next June. Without a club since May, the striker got back into shape for several weeks in Sion.
Sio (32) was part of the first team of FC Sion for the first time from July 2010 to January 2012. In 2011, he was one of the main architects of the Valaisans’ Cup victory.
The Franco-Ivorian striker signed with FC Sion until June 2023. He had been training for a few weeks with the group. #FCSion #All together

After this first detour through Valais, Sio went to the Bundesliga in Wolfsburg. In Switzerland, he had also played for FC Basel. The Ivorian’s last club was Genclerbirligi in Turkey.
