The Catalan Dragons beat Leeds (27-18) on Matchday 10 of the Super League. Here are the ratings of the Catalan players.
Sam Tomkins – 7 : Solid under the Rhinos’ high balls, he created some shifts in the second period after being well muzzled in the first act.
Tom Davies – 7 : 1 try and another 175 meters gained with the ball in hand. The English winger never hides to bring out the swells and that makes the difference.
Samisoni langi – 6 : Quite timid offensively but valuable game in defense against Konrad Hurrell even if he suffered a little at the end of the first act.
Dean Whare – 7 : Probably one of his best matches with the Catalan Dragons. He tackled more and ran more than Samisoni Langi, revealing a successful overall performance. Decisive on the essay by Tom Davies.
Fouad Yaha – 7 : No test but he deserved better in this match because twice it is played for nothing. His percussion full center in the middle of the second act did good for his team.
Josh Drinkwater – 7 : A full match in the role that James Maloney usually plays. In his defense, this carelessness that costs a ready-made test.
Arthur Mourgue – 8 : The weeks go by and look the same for the half French. Another try, a decisive pass and a constant activity, even in defense. Very good against poles.
Gil Dudson – 6 : He does his job, neither more nor less. His percussions lack a bit of edge offensively, precious in the middle in defense.
Alrix Da Costa – 7 : He did not take a lot of personal initiatives but he managed the game of his team well in the second half. Best tackle of the Dracs with 36 units.
Mickael Goudemand – 6 : A satisfactory match for the French pillar, clean in defense but well contained in attack by the middle block of Leeds.
Matt Whitley – 8 : For his second straight start, he delivered a very good performance with a try. He’s always there to chase away kicks and tackles.
Mike McMeeken – 8 : We repeat it every week but he is really one of the best recruits in the history of the Catalan Dragons. Still perfect in the tackle (23/23) he hurts with his percussions (115 meters gained) and offered a magnificent assist in offload!
Benjamin Garcia – 7 : A full match for the Dracs captain who was back in his post! 32 tackles and 20 catches in the offensive phase.
Jordan Dezaria – 6 : A badly played outfit even if it is questionable. Apart from that sharp percussions which hurt, interesting for the continuation.
Sam Kasiano – 9 : He changed the game. Its physical impact is undeniable and makes incredible differences. All his outfits are played quickly and in addition he marks the test which relaunches the Dracs. Bernard, if there is one that needs to be re-signed, it’s Big Sam!
Benjamin Jullien – not rated : Less than 10 minutes of playing time but interesting races.
Paul Séguier – 5 : He did not make a fault but he does not win his duels and cannot quickly play his outfits. He also missed 4 tackles including one on Hurrell who led the Rhinos’ third try.
