Toronto FC erased a first-half deficit by scoring two unanswered goals, including one from a sensational solo effort by Alejandro Pozuelo early in the second half in a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Union, at BMO Field on Saturday.
Julián Carranza opened the scoring in the 34th minute with a low header.
But the Reds responded five minutes later with Jonathan Osorio on a play prepared by Jesús Jiménez. It was his fourth goal in seven games for Osorio.
Pozuelo scored what turned out to be the 51st-minute winner, navigating through several Union players just inside the box before beating Andre Blake with a low left-footed shot.
Union, who had a goal disallowed following a first-half video replay due to offside, nearly tied the game, but a Jakob Glesnes header from a Kai corner Wagner went over the net.
