Sports bags offered to UBQ players

Monday 11 July, the members of the UBQ met at the pétanquier to prepare the 2nd division teams, coached by Jacques Coulon, who were playing the next day in the round of 16 in Trèbes. On this occasion, the qualified players were given a sports bag by Anthony Chaunaud, departmental councilor in the presence of Gilles Alard representing the mayor. The teams involved lost the round of 16 after some hotly contested games, but this defeat did not prevent the petanque players from meeting again on Friday 15 July when another team met that evening that of Pomas for the Inter Sport qualification.

The heads to heads and the doublets first took place before meeting around a good table where all the participants shared a meal. It was then the triplets who closed the evening, playing fierce games until a late hour.
