Throughout this first week of October, a series of events in Rochecorbon (with town hall illuminated in pink). Until Sunday, the hall of the Vodanum room hosts a photo exhibition with a rose logo by Sarah Matignon. You will have to go to the same place this Friday 7 at 7 p.m. for a conference about screening by a doctor. Saturday, meet at 9:30 a.m. in front of the church for a 5km walk or run, zumba at 11:30 a.m., massages all day, yoga at 2:30 p.m. And in the evening, theater in Vodanum with the play Provided it rains at €12 (reservations on 06 51 12 28 54).

In Esvres, solidarity tennis tournament on October 15 and 16, notably for the benefit of the Tours association Au Sein des Femmes. Matches start at 9 a.m. (registration €15). Throughout the month of October, the media library also hosts a photo exhibition called around pink. There will also be a sale of flower bulbs in the market on Saturday.
The Violet Valley social center in Joué-lès-Tours is organizing an exhibition until October 20 in tribute « to combatants and their caregivers ». Opening Friday, October 14. It will be from 7:30 p.m.
This Friday 7 at 9 a.m., the Ballan-Miré market welcomes an information stand of the League against Cancer before the departure of the Pink March of the former deputy from Tours Sophie Auconie scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Another solidarity hike will start from the Mermoz room on October 16 at 2 p.m. for 10km. This will benefit the Flamme en Rose association. From Saturday the 15th, the town will also host a cancer dressing room at Work in Box at 4-6 Boulevard de Chinon.
For the 4th consecutive year, the Domaine de Candé will host the CCAS de Monts on Sunday, October 9 for a sports day open to all to collect donations for the Association Les Roses Poudrées. On the program: Course des Roses, hiking, escape game. This completely free event will take place from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Finally in Loches, the Cité Royale will unveil the reconstitution of a dress by Agnès Sorel inspired by a painting. The favorite of King Charles VII is represented there as a nursing virgin. The garment will be made by the Lochoise seamstress Madame Augustine. Worn by a model involved in the fight against breast cancer, it will be photographed in the royal residence by the Grain d’images studio in Loches. One of the photos will be the subject of a large format art print intended to be sold at auction (deadline 2023) in order to raise funds for an association fighting against breast cancer. At the end of this operation, Agnès Sorel’s dress will enrich the collections of the Logis royal de Loches and will be presented in the permanent route of the site.
