Find issue 585 of the Splash’n’ Go show with a presentation of the Rolex 24s and a NASCAR news tour.
IMSA’s 2023 season opens this weekend with the Rolex 24s on the road course at Daytona International Speedway. 61 crews are entered for this double clock in five categories, three prototypes (GTP, LMP2 and LMP3 – editor’s note) and two GT (GTD Pro and GTD – editor’s note).
The qualifications took place on Sunday and delivered a first verdict. Although the gaps are small in GTP (815 thousandths between the eight drivers who set a time – editor’s note), it is reliability that will play a key role in this 24-hour race.
The race will be broadcast live and in full on IMSA.tv, but also by Automoto La chaine in France.
In NASCAR the season will begin in ten days with the Clash, a non-championship event, then it will be necessary to wait two additional weeks for the opening round of the championship, at Daytona. The opportunity to review the news that marked the winter, from Kyle Larson to Kevin Harvick.
