Without a club for the 2021-2022 season, Sofiane briki (1.93 m, 22 years old) takes part in the preparation of the Alliance Sport Alsace in order to get in shape in the same way as the players already engaged by a team.

The back scorer, author of a mixed 2020-2021 season in Saint-Chamond (6.6 points at 40.7% shooting success including 38.5% at 3-point, 1.6 rebound and 1.4 assist for 5.4 rating in 16 minutes), struggled to get started after experiencing a white 2019-2020 season due to a cruciate ligament rupture. Considered to be one of the most promising players of the 1999 generation, thanks to his technical qualities and in particular shooting skills, the Villeurbanne could convince an LNB club to give him a chance.
