Soccer. Kheira Hamraoui files a complaint for defamation
For three months now, the PSG women’s team has been shaken by the consequences of Kheira Hamraoui’s attack. According to our colleagues from L’Équipe, the player decided to take legal action by filing two complaints this Friday, February 11.
The first complaint would have been filed for “invasion of privacy” and “spreading false news” against a certain Marc Blata. This man presenting himself as a blogger and influencer would have reacted in an Instagram post « to sound recordings which would have been sent by Kheira Hamraoui and took the opportunity to peddle many lies about her » explains Me Saïd Harir, Ms. Hamraoui’s lawyer. Still according to the sports daily, the same Marc Blata would have « published sound recordings wrongly attributed to the renowned footballer, Presnel Kimpembe, in which someone pretending to be him, says he had an intimate relationship with Mrs. Hamraoui » specifies Mr. Harir. Allegations denied by the international defender of PSG.
The other complaint targets journalist Romain Molina. The latter would have, in his YouTube video published on January 31, « The Hamraoui affair: the policy of the ostrich of PSG », made defamatory remarks against the player of the France team. Me Saïd Harir therefore seized the Paris court and denounced at the same time « threats and death threats » against his client.
