Sharks sign Mario Ferraro to four-year contract

The San Jose Sharks signed Mario Ferraro to a four-year contract on Thursday. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

The 23-year-old defenseman had 14 points (two goals, 12 assists) in 63 games for the Sharks last season. He also led the team in blocked shots (151).

Selected by the Sharks in the second round (49th) of the 2017 draft, Ferraro has amassed 42 points (five goals, 37 assists) in 180 games since the start of his career.
