Serie A. On the sidelines of the clash Juventus – Inter Milan, the vibrant tribute to Ukraine

Before the Serie A match between Juventus Turin and Inter Milan, Sunday evening April 4, won 1-0 by Inter, a tribute to Ukraine, invaded by Russia for more than a month , was returned.

Two singers, the Italian Gaia and the Ukrainian Kateryna Pavlenko, entered the field, all dressed in white, as a symbol of peace. Hand in hand, they placed themselves in the center of the field, surrounded by the players, face to face, and sang « Imagine » by John Lennon.

In a full Allianz Stadium, lit only by the lights of the telephones, the two singers paid a vibrant tribute to the Ukrainian people.

The two women hugged at the end of the song, to loud applause, before the word « Peace » was displayed in large format on the giant screens.
