Sergio Busquets will leave the club

After more than 15 seasons in the Blaugranas jersey, Sergio Busquets (34) will leave FC Barcelona at the end of this 2022-2023 exercise, according to the MundoDeportivo, a few hours after announcing his international retirement. Number 5 was the last survivor of the trio with Xavi and Iniesta, having brought glory to Barça.

He took the time to think after the World Cup so as not to rush any decision, but this one seems to have been taken. The man with 143 caps with La Roja is now free and could bounce back to Inter Miami in MLS (Major League Soccer). Useful to remember that Xavi wanted to keep it, however, since he considers it essential to his game plan.
