Lexus has prepared for the 2021 edition of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, two IS models designed with the collaboration of professional drivers, sporting approved finishes for the road for one, and type circuit for the other.

The Japanese manufacturer called on the services of American pilots Townsend Bell and Scott Pruett to design these two models, produced in partnership with Hiraku for the IS 500 model, and with Dsport Magazine for the Lexus IS 350.

The IS 500 model imagined with the collaboration of Townsend Bell (4th of the 500 miles of Indianapolis 2009), is intended for road use and comes in a sober white livery enhanced with touches of sky blue and black. Dsport Magazine fitted it with a body kit made by Artisan Spirits which included fender flares, a carbon fiber rear spoiler as well as new side skirts, while its livery was made by troy Lee Design ( and inspired by the design of Pruett’s helmet).

Circuit obliges, this model IS 350 which also has a KW suspension and ceramic carbon brake discs, a roll bar as well as carbon fiber / Kevlar bucket seats with six-point harness, is a  » work in progress ”. Dsport Magazine has indeed planned to tackle soon its atmospheric block V6 3.5 liters of 315 hp, to extract double the power.
