Saïd Ali Saïd Athouman candidate for the vice-presidency of COSAFA

In two weeks, the General Assembly of the Council of Football Associations in Southern Africa (COSAFA) will be held in Mbabane, in Eswatini. Delegates will occasionally elect a new Executive Committee.

On December 9, another leader of Comorian football has the opportunity to join a large body of African football. After Kanizat Ibrahim, who became the 5th Vice-President of CAF, Saïd Ali Saïd Athouman could be the next Vice-President of COSAFA. The president of the FFC will also present himself without opposition to the post.

Current president of the body, Dr Phillip Chiyangwa has decided not to run for a second term. Angolan Artur de Almeida e Silva and South African Dr Danny Jordaan are candidates to replace him.
