Rwanda – Premier League (J19): Rayon Sports and APR FC neutralize each other

The shock between Rayon Sports and APR FC gave birth to a sad draw. The two title rivals parted ways in a 0-0 draw after 90 minutes. A result without consequence for the APR which remains at the top of the ranking.

Throughout the game, Rayon Sports was very eager to beat APR FC. The men of the Blue Family created several scoring chances, but without finding the net. Rayon Sports was deprived of two penalties not whistled by the referee while its attackers were dangerously stopped in the forbidden zone.

Towards the end of the match, APR FC got two clear chances on unsuccessful crosses. The encounter could have ended in a fishtail after a fight broke out between the players, but the officials calmed the tension. Despite the draw, APR FC maintains its leading position with 41 points. Rayon Sports also remains 4th with 33 points.
