The rugby transfer window is in full swing with many movements in French clubs. On the Toulouse side, two players at the end of their contract in Perpignan, George Tilsley and Piula Fa’asalele, could join the Pink City as World Cup jokers. In Clermont, Christophe Urios is prospecting in the Top 14 and is particularly interested in Montpellier centre-winger Yvan Reilhac and Australian international Caleb Timu. Toulon, meanwhile, are looking to sign a new scrum-half to replace Benoît Paillaugue, with Stade Français’ Arthur Coville in their sights. Bayonne is working to retain its young talents, including full-back Tom Spring, while Montpellier has formalized the arrival of full-back Alexandre de Nardi from Mont-de-Marsan.

In Castres, three contract extensions have been recorded with Julien Dumora, Adrien Séguret and Leone Nakarawa. Brive, meanwhile, are reportedly close to signing wing-back Gervais Cordin from Toulon, while Vannes have locked down their executive Sacha Valleau with a contract extension. Béziers brings back second line Hans Nkinsi from Provence Rugby, and Soyaux-Angoulême has extended the contract of Fijian Nasoni Naqiri.
