Romain Grosjean abandons the Indy 500 in an accident

Romain Grosjean (Andretti) suffered an accident at the start of the 106th lap of the Indianapolis 500 this Sunday, May 29. The Frenchman, who was then in the middle of the peloton, lost control of his Dallara in turn 2.

The shock occurred on the left side with violence but the former Formula 1 driver emerged unscathed from the wreckage. Romain Grosjean had set the ninth fastest time in qualifying and led a very wise first half of the race, in particular by remaining cautious during three restarts.
