Rio Ferdinand warns Premier League giant ‘don’t exaggerate about him’
According to Mirror, Manchester United legend Rio Ferdinand believes Gabriel Jesus had an « unreal » impact at Arsenal, but urges fans not to go « too far » about him.
The 25-year-old Brazil international left Man City to join the Gunners for a £45million check in the summer. He made an instant impression at the Emirates, scoring two goals and providing three assists to help Arsenal win all four of their Premier League games this season.
However, many fans have already called Jesus the signing of the summer, but Ferdinand isn’t getting carried away. The Manchester United icon has highlighted the impact Jesus replacement Erling Haaland has had at Man City in the opening weeks of the season. “I think the impact of Jesus was unreal”Ferdinand said on his Vibe with Five podcast. « I think he’s been a fantastic signing, an absolute major signing for Arsenal, but please don’t overdo it like all Arsenal fans do. »
