Rico close to Mallorca, Fadiga at Olympiakos

In lack of playing time at PSG, Sergio Rico is close to a temporary departure this winter. The Spanish goalkeeper is seriously desired by Mallorca who are moving forward on this file. Bandiougou Fadiga is transferred to Olympiakos.

The strong contingent of goalkeepers at PSG should lose a unit this winter. Relegated to third position in the hierarchy behind Keylor Navas and Gianluigi Donnarumma, Sergio Rico should not finish the season in Paris. The Spaniard could thus be loaned to Mallorca, currently 15th in La Liga, in the coming days. While a purchase option was discussed between PSG and the Spanish club, the loan should be concluded without a purchase option. Mallorca are expected to pay part of Sergio Rico’s salary but not all of it.

La Rayo also interested

Other clubs continue to inquire about Sergio Rico, and it is said in Spain that Rayo Vallecano, who could lose their number 1 goalkeeper, Macedonian Stole Dimitrievski, before the end of the transfer window, are also interested in the former goalkeeper of Sevilla FC. But Mallorca have taken a step ahead on this issue.

Fadiga at Olympiacos

Still in the direction of departures, PSG recorded that of Bandiougou Fadiga. According to our information, the midfielder, who played six games with Paris last season before being loaned to Brest, will definitely leave the Parisian club. Fadiga, who hasn’t played a single minute this season with Mauricio Pochettino, is transferred to Olympiakos on a four-and-a-half-year contract with the Piraeus club.
