Arsenal are preparing an offer to try to recruit Marcus Rashford. The England striker has lost both his starting spot at Manchester United and his role in the England squad after an alarming loss of form, but Arsenal could offer him a boost in the summer transfer window, reports the Mirror in its Sunday edition.

Rashford successor to Aubameyang at the Gunners?

After the departure of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to FC Barcelona and the uncertainty that reigns over the future of Alexandre Lacazette but also of Eddie Nketiah, the leaders of Arsenal are multiplying the avenues in attack so as not to find themselves deprived of the next summer. That concerning Marcus Rashford would have been activated in recent days after being alerted to the possible availability of the England international next summer.

Valued 85 million euros

The Manchester United striker has started just nine times this season and has just five goals to his name in all competitions. But to afford the player next summer, Arsenal need to secure their qualification for the next Champions League. Under contract with Manchester United until June 2023, Marcus Rashford is valued at 85 million euros by Transfermarkt. But one year from the end of his contract next June, he could be sold below this amount.
