PSG unveils its new jersey and its new sponsor

PSG formalized its home jersey for the 2022-2023 season on Wednesday, with the arrival of Qatar Airways as main sponsor.

The new season is preparing for PSG. The Parisian club unveiled its home tunic for the 2022-2023 financial year on Wednesday, with Qatar Airways as the main sponsor. The GOAT partner also arrives on the tunic, the main feature of which is this white stripe in the middle, with two other red stripes to delimit against the blue.

Qatar Airways appears as main sponsor

Airline of the emirate, Qatar Airways therefore succeeds Accor. According to the latest information, PSG should receive between 60 and 70 million euros per year for this new sponsorship contract. In the past, the brand had already been displayed in particular on the FC Barcelona jersey. This is undoubtedly enough to revive some memories for Lionel Messi or Neymar.

The design of this new outfit, still imagined by the equipment manufacturer Nike, is quite « old school » in its conception and recalls the version released in 2014 for the Parisians. The American sponsor is displayed just below the logo, in the heart of the wide white band.

For Parisian supporters, this new version is nevertheless not a real surprise since the jersey had leaked in recent days, not failing to react and provoke lively exchanges. Now all that remains is to know the other jerseys for the coming season.
