The president of Confederation of African Football (CAF), Patrice Motsepepaid a vibrant tribute to Ginani Infantinothe president of the International Football Federation (FIFA), on the sidelines of the 44th CAF General Assembly.

A nice way from the boss of the African football governing body to thank the one who was behind the decision to enthrone him as head of Confederation of African Football (CAF).

As a reminder, the South African leader was president of the CAF thanks to the assistance of Gianni Infantinowhich convinced the other candidates for this post of president to withdraw their candidacies.

It is unfortunate to note that Confederation of African Football (CAF) has lost much of its independence since the Cameroonian left Issa Hayatouhe who energetically refused any attempt by FIFA to have a stranglehold on African football.
