Almost a year to the day after its official presentation, the Lamborghini Huracan STO (Super Trofeo Omologata) has completed its world tour and made its last dynamic presentation in Asia.
Since November 18, 2020 and her official presentation organized in Italy, the sportswoman from Sant’Agata Bolognese has gone out to meet her audience and has been tested on the roads and circuits of North America, Japan and China, where she met a most favorable reception.
The Huracan STO, developed by the Lamborghini Squadra Corse team for thrill seekers, finds its inspiration in the competition models of the Italian manufacturer, the Huracán Super Trofeo EVO and especially the Huracán GT3 EVO triple winner of the 24 Hours of Daytona and twice winner of the 12 Hours of Sebring.
This STO variation is presented as the most efficient road-approved model in the Huracan range, thanks to a body (made of 75% carbon fiber) with optimized aerodynamics giving it maximum downforce (more than the Huracan Performante), at a limited weight (1339 kg dry) and at a power amply sufficient to guarantee full sensations to its occupants.
The Huracan STO is indeed powered by a 5.2-liter V10 unit developing 640 hp and 565 Nm, which allows it to spin at 310 km / h in peak after having completed the exercise from 0 to 100 km / h in less than 3 seconds. , and the 0 to 200 km / h in just 9 seconds.
This performance has been enjoyed by the brand’s first customers (having spent around € 250,000 to purchase it) over the past few months, with the first deliveries of this Huracan STO being organized last spring.
