Through his work, Brian Crighton continues the legendary Wankel rotary engine developed by Norton and used in racing motorcycles entered by the British brand in the 1990s.

At 73, this engineer has just unveiled the culmination of more than 12 years of work: the Crighton CR700W. A motorcycle dedicated to track use which presents characteristics to make the most powerful superbikes of the moment pale and displayed at a price as prohibitive as its use is exclusive: 100,000 €.

Developed in collaboration with the engine specialist Wankel Rotron Power, the CR700W could even be produced in 25 units, provided that enough customers are found able to line up the tickets, but also to exploit the incredible potential of this machine.

With its 699 cm3 Norton Wankel rotary engine, the CR700W thus offers a power of 220 horsepower and a torque of 142 Nm. Unexpected characteristics for such a compact engine which make this sports car, weighing only 129.5 kg empty, a real airplane. fighter able to compete with a MotoGP prototype in terms of weight / power ratio.
