Premier League: West Ham
On the occasion of the 15th day of the Premier League, West Ham welcomes Chelsea. This London derby sees two members of the current top 4 compete against each other.
It is shock of this 15th day in England. The two best London teams so far will do battle at the Olympic stadium. Leader, Chelsea is the best team in the championship away from homer with 6 wins and a single draw. The Hammers will try to take down the Blues for the first time this season when playing away from home. Surprising fourth, West Ham slowed down after a very promising start to the year. Many teams behind David Moyes’ men have their sights set on this last qualifying place for the C1 and are waiting for the slightest misstep from the Hammers. West Ham must then resume its march forward after three games in a row without any success, under penalty of being overtaken by Arsenal, Manchester United or Tottenham. It will not be easy against Tuchel’s Chelsea who have conceded only 6 goals in 14 games and present the best defensive record in the championship. The Blues gradually recover all their offensive elements and are then also able to hurt the opposing defense. However, the Hammers know the recipe for beating a big fish at home this season and have already brought down Leicester, Tottenham and Liverpool in their London home.
Editor’s opinion: (2-1)
West Ham is the ideal candidate to hand Chelsea their first away setback this season. Despite their current form, the Hammers will show the same face as against Liverpool to foil the Blues and win 2-1.
