Premier League predictions: Jones Knows thinks 15/2 Harvey Barnes can score first for Leicester against Leeds | Soccer News

Aston Villa and Leicester can outrun some fleeing defenses at Fulham and Leeds as our tipster Jones Knows attacks the midweek card.

Fulham v Aston Villa, Thursday 7.30pm

If you’re looking to take on any side in the Premier League to give your attackers confidence, Fulham are the way to go.

Aston Villa should have chances in this fixture against a side that have scored at least two goals in nine of their 11 games in all competitions this season, including against Crawley Town in the Carabao Cup. Dominic Solanke has become the eighth centre-forward to score against Fulham this season as their weakness at the heart of their defense remains uncorrected.

Villa are a team that like to concentrate their attacks in central areas. Danny Ings and Ollie Watkins played together to good effect in the ill-fated 2-0 loss to Chelsea – a game where Villa created a healthy expected goal tally of 1.79 but ran into a possessed goalkeeper. I think Steven Gerrard’s men can score several home goals in this one with the 5/4 with Sky Bet on them to score two or more stand out.

SCORE PREDICTION: 1-3

Leicester v Leeds, Thursday 8.15pm

If you need proof to show that Leicester are much higher ranked than a relegation-threatened team, just look at their match prices. Despite still sitting at the bottom of the pile with just one win to their name and missing their best player in James Maddison due to suspension for this game, they are still 5/4 favorites with Sky. Bet to beat Leeds, who have shown themselves in patches this season, are not cups.

The market expects Leicester to get some results and climb up the table. I can definitely see it too. They were the better side in the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace, playing with a lot of creativity without turning that into good quality chances as their expected goals data was quite low with Palace defending so deep.

Leeds will give Leicester strikers more space here and Harvey Barnes looks too expensive to open the scoring at 15/2 with Sky Bet. He’s had 12 shots in his last four games for a healthy expected goals figure of 0.79 and looked very lively as he gave Joel Ward scorching time cutting down the left flank against Palace. In Maddison’s absence, his goal threat is Leicester’s most potent weapon.

SCORE PREDICTION: 2-1
