In the fight to move away from the red zone, Leeds United absolutely had to win on the lawn of Norwich City, within the framework of the 10th day of the Premier League. After a first closed period at Norwich, the match then got carried away shortly before the hour mark. Well served by James, Raphinha opened the scoring for the Peacocks (1-0, 56th). But a few minutes later, Norwich equalized thanks to Omobamidele, with a beautiful header (1-1, 58th).
Only two minutes later, Rodrigo restored the advantage to Bielsa’s men with a nice powerful strike (2-1, 61st) and allowed Leeds United to win their second success of the season. An important victory which allows Leeds to go back to three points of Burnley, first relegation. Leeds will host Leicester on the next day. For its part, Norwich remains red lantern with only two points and therefore without the slightest victory before going to Brentford.
