According to The Athletic, the Brentford club have made an offer for midfielder Christian Eriksen. The Dane, who is free to commit where he wishes since the termination of his contract with Inter Milan in December, would like to return to England. The Bees have reportedly made an offer for a six-month contract with the option of extending the 29-year-old for a further year.
The Danish international, who has not played since his heart attack on June 12 during the Euro match against Finland, aims to play again at a high level and find his place with Denmark to go to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. The former Tottenham attacking midfielder who played 305 games for Spurs is also believed to be sought after by other Premier League clubs.
