Porsche opens its first pop-up store in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage – L’argus PRO
The Lille Porsche Center, operated by the Volkswagen Group Retail France subsidiary, inaugurated the Porsche Now concept on June 30, 2022 at Place de l’Hermitage, in Le Touquet-Paris-Plage. This is the first time that the German brand has deployed such a concept in France. This pop-up store with an area of more than 75 m2 will enliven the town center of the seaside resort of Pas-de-Calais throughout the summer period. « The aim is to enable the Porsche Centers to be present where they do not have a point of sale but where the target groups are and to establish a first contact »exposes the mark.
The Taycan and electromobility highlighted
This ephemeral concept emphasizes electromobility with the presentation of the Taycan. The brand’s first 100% electric model comes with a charging station, as well as Porsche eBikes, available for testing. Visitors can also discover and purchase Porsche Lifestyle products. “A personalization lounge is devoted to consultation and individual support for customers in configuring their future vehicle. Samples of body paint and interior leather are available so that you can easily imagine your future car », details Porsche. A virtual reality headset is made available to customers to allow them to experience the result of their configuration in real time by walking around the vehicle or sitting behind the wheel.
The manufacturer points out that similar concepts have already emerged around the world in Germany, Switzerland, Greece, Japan, Taiwan, Brazil and Canada. The Porsche Now concept, which aims to be « flexible and nimble », can be deployed in different locations, at different times of the year. The brand specifies that its installation in other cities has not yet been decided.
