Porsche 911 GT3 recalled for belt problems – 4Legend.com – AudiPassion.com

Porsche is launching a recall campaign concerning its new 911 GT3 type 992 which may have a problem with the anchoring of the seat belt which could detach from the seat during an accident.

The information comes from the NHTSA which launched an information campaign under the number 22V803000, concerning 15 Porsche 911 GT3 type 992 manufactured in 2022. An incorrectly tightened seat belt anchor can come loose during an accident, which increases the risk of injury. The screw that secures the seat belt lower anchor to the seat frame may not have been properly tightened at the factory.

The American importer Porsche Cars North America, Inc. is thus recalling certain 2022 911 GT3 vehicles. The internal Porsche reference is ANB6. A recall campaign in Europe should also take place in order to check the correct tightening of the fixing screw on each seat.

The owners concerned will be contacted in order to go to the Porsche Center in order to carry out this verification. Dealers will replace and retighten the screws. If the screw threads are damaged, the seat frame will also be replaced. Repairs will be carried out free of charge.
