The Tampa Bay Lightning, two-time defending champion, won on the ice of the Los Angeles Kings (6-4) on Tuesday in the NHL regular season. Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, the center French from the Lightning, distinguished himself by scoring a goal (35th), the third for his team, allowing him to lead 3-2.
It’s the fifth goal of the season for Bellemare, who now has a total of 12 points. After this victory, Tampa Bay leads the Atlantic Division and the Eastern Conference with a two-point lead over the Florida Panthers.
The Montreal Canadiens, dead last in the NHL, have found a little smile, winning at the Dallas Stars (5-3), including 48 saves from Sam Montembeault, the goalkeeper. Montreal had not won a game since December 17.
