PGA: Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantley remain in the lead
Americans Xander Schauffele and Patrick Cantley retained first place after the second round of the New Orleans Zurich Classic, a team tournament played in Avondale on Friday.
While today’s round was played in the alternate shot format, the duo took four shots off par. His cumulative score of 127 (-17) puts him ahead of the teams made up of Aaron Rai and David Lipsky (67) as well as that of Doc Redman and Sam Ryder (67).
Along with Ryan Armour, Michael Giglic (69) is the only Canadian who will take part in the weekend rounds. They are currently 16th, at 134 (-10). Teaming up, Adam Svensson and Adam Hadwin (72) was unable to avoid the cut.
