Patrice Evra snubs Rooney and Ronaldo and designates the best player he has played with.

Former Manchester United left-back Patrice Evra has identified legend Ryan Giggs as the best player he has played with in his career, snubbing his two teammates Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.

The Frenchman said he picked Giggs ahead of Rooney and Ronaldo because the Welshman sometimes passes the ball where no one sees it and because of his heritage.

Evra has made 273 appearances for Man United and won several trophies, including five Premier League and one Champions League.

Speaking to News Agency 433, the 40-year-old surprised fans by insisting his best player would be Giggs.

“People always ask me who’s the best player you’ve played with after signing for United [Manchester United], and they expect me to say Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo, ”Evra said.

“I always say Ryan Giggs because sometimes he passes the ball where no one else would see it, and his legacy.

“I remember that with Giggsy, even if we lost a game in training, he would go crazy. Sometimes even the training was more important than the game itself. «

He added: “I learned a lot with this guy, and we played on the left side together, and we had a lot of arguing on the pitch, because I loved doing those really bad throw-ins where the ball bounces. in front of you, so you know you have to react ”.

He [Ryan Giggs] had a great technique, so he would say: « Patrice played it in my feet! »

I said: « A player like you, you have to live with it! » And after the game, we were just sorry, my brother… this game was intense. «
