Pato O’Ward extends with Arrow McLaren SP until 2025

Arrived at Arrow McLaren SP in 2020, Pato O’Ward will stay with the IndyCar team until 2025, as we announced in AUTOweekly. Indy Lights champion in 2018, the Mexican started with Carlin in 2019 before joining Arrow Mclaren SP. With the American team, Pato O’Ward has won the three victories of his career, in Texas and Detroit in 2021, and most recently at Barber, for the Alabama Grand Prix. O’Ward, who tested with McLaren F1 in Abu Dhabi last year, will of course take part in the Indianapolis 500 this weekend. O’Ward seems particularly comfortable on the Speedway, he finished 6th in 2020, then as a rookie, and 4th last year. Pato O’Ward, 23, also has the 24 Hours of Daytona on his record, in 2017 (PC category) and in 2022 (LM P2).
