Pass'sport for employment

Thursday, September 22, Chloé Demeulenaere, deputy secretary general of the Gard prefecture, accompanied by Mario Rodrigues-Vaz, delegate of the prefect, and Sabine Gaurel from the Departmental Directorate of Employment, Labor and Solidarity went to meet young people taking part in the « Pass’sport pour l’emploi » system.

This is a job dating operation organized at the Marcel Rouvière stadium in Nîmes in partnership with the city of Nîmes and the departmental council.
Sports workshops have been offered so that each young person can measure their physical condition (evaluation engine) before going to meet services offering job offers or training (Fédération Française du Bâtiment, Enedis, EDFFrench Electricity, CAF, the 2nd chance school, the chamber of trades and crafts, Face Gard, Pôle Emploi, the local mission…..). but also the firefighters of the Gard.
Note also the presence of an adapted company ETAPE which has offered positions specifically reserved for people benefiting from the Recognition of the Quality of Disabled Worker (RQTH) in the green spaces and cleaning sectors.
This day devoted to employment, training and apprenticeship enabled more than 150 participants, in particular young people, to prepare for professional interviews and to assess their skills thanks to the mobilization of employment partners, integration and neighborhood stakeholders.
It was financed to the tune of 10,000 euros by the Interministerial Fund for the Prevention of Delinquency (FIPDInterministerial Fund for the Prevention of Delinquency).
