Passionate about sports? With her app, Marjorie Daniel helps you become a volunteer at competitions
The selection committee for the Business with Attitude – Madame Figaro award has selected 12 semi-finalists. Marjorie Daniel, co-founder of Volunteers 4 Sport, offers tools for recruiting and managing volunteers at sporting events. She is a candidate for the Potentielles prizes, created in partnership with Diversidays.
The starting point? « The organizers of sporting events are short of arms, but it is difficult to find volunteer assignments, because the environment works by word of mouth, » sums up Marjorie Daniel. His company bought and markets the Vol’Up 2.0 software, already used in major competitions. For €1,000 per month, this software allows federations and organizers of sporting events to recruit, train and manage their volunteers.
