Paris: arrested for threatening the French football team

The hype surrounding the Paris attacks inevitably influences people’s minds. A 36-year-old man was brought before the Paris prosecutor’s office on Thursday. He was suspected of spreading threats of an attack on footballers of the France team via an online gaming website.

Monday, September 6, the police officers of the Pharos reporting platform received a disturbing report from an Internet user. « He ensures that a man threatens to commit an attack in the stadium of Lyon on the occasion of the match which will oppose the team of France on September 7 to that of Finland », relates a source close to the investigation.

Law enforcement identifies the IP address from which the threat comes. « He is an inhabitant of the 15th arrondissement of Paris who has the profile of a man without history », specifies a source close to the case. Investigators from the third judicial police district went to his apartment but found the door closed. This visit allows them all the same to learn that their suspect works as a stretcher bearer at the Georges Pompidou hospital (15th century).

Marked by the attack in 2015 at the Stade de France
