Touched to a knee in Troyes on Saturday (1-0 defeat), Nicolas Pallois should be away from the field for four weeks, which should allow him to play in the Coupe de France final in May against Nice. The 34-year-old central defender suffered a sprained internal ligament in his left knee after a clash with his teammate Andrei Girotto in the league match lost 1-0 on Saturday at Troyes (1-0).
It is a blow for Nantes, seventh in Ligue 1, of which Pallois is an unbreakable framework. The team led by Antoine Kombouaré will also have to do without left-back Charles Traoré, who suffered a similar injury and whose length of unavailability has been assessed in an equivalent manner. Their recovery could therefore occur for the reception of Angers in the league at the start of the second half of April.
