Batmobile par excellence, the Lamborghini Reventon is a bit like the spiritual mother of the Aventador. It is also one of the rarest Lamborghinis in the world. However, one of the 20 copies is currently for sale.
The Lamborghini Reventon is much more than just a limited-edition supercar with a body kit. It was she who laid the foundations of the Aventador by bridging the stylistic gap between the Murcielago and the Aventador. Today, one of only 20 examples ever to leave the Sant’Agata factory is up for sale and it has less than 110 kilometers on the odometer. Built in 2007 then delivered in 2008, this Reventon is the 13th made and it is a first hand. Under the hood is the same naturally aspirated 640 horsepower V12 as the Murciélago LP 640-4. This block allows the Reventon to go from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 340 km/h. Performances that are well suited to the name “Reventon” since it translates to “little explosion” in Spanish.
The Reventón marked a return to a very angular and aggressive style that had been abandoned by the Murcielago. It also added more technology inside, which helped improve the driving experience. The Aventador then took on many of its design features.
The myth among myths
This particular Reventon is special for so much more. Although it only has around 110 km on the clock, it has been serviced three times, including once very recently in July 2022. Lamborghini München in Germany took care of it. It also comes with all the original accessories.
This includes a military look bag, numbered presentation key box, numbered ‘Reventon’ folding knife, numbered key ring and car cover. This car is so close to new in terms of mileage that RM Sotheby’s indicates that it may be considered « administratively new in certain jurisdictions ». So, does that make you want to? You will certainly have to pay a few million euros to afford it, but its value will certainly only increase in the coming years.
