One hundred young singers from four colleges on stage in Yssingeaux to sing

The colleges of Aurec, Yssingeaux, Tence, Le Chambon-sur-Lignon gave their first concert Thursday evening at the rural home in Yssingeaux.

Accompanied by musicians, the hundred students on stage mix theater and songs, written by a French teacher, based on the novel « The Cricket Club of the Taliban » by an Indian author Timeri.

A few days ago, Amnesty International published a report in which the organization criticizes the policy carried out by the Taliban against women. More generally, since their coming to power, restrictions on women’s rights, freedom of the press and freedom of expression have multiplied.

The middle school students will be back on stage this Friday: a dress rehearsal in the afternoon in the presence of CM2 yssingelais and residents of the Yssingeaux nursing home, and at 7:30 p.m. in front of the general public.
