OM: McCourt smashes Qatari money and receives support from Riolo

Franck McCourt, owner of Olympique de Marseille has been extremely critical of states that invest in football clubs like Qatar via QSI with Paris Saint-Germain, historic rival of the Marseille club. In the program After Foot on RMC, Daniel Riolo went in the direction of the American owner.

The new owners are disturbing. Once is not customary, the money that Qatar invested in Paris Saint-Germain is dreaming behind the scenes but annoys in front. After Uli Hoeness, Franck McCourt, owner of Olympique de Marseille, felt that states that invest in football are not a good thing because they reduce sports equity.

A few hours later, the editorialist Daniel Riolo, joined the American owner of OM, believing that without control football accelerates its loss: “There was a control, even if we can criticize financial fair play, but there has never been the feeling that we have today that PSG and Manchester City have their hands free to do whatever they want. We have had this feeling for six months. And yes, this feeling bothers me and it bothers. Without control, it is impossible.  »
