OM doubled by the Galaxy on the Pavon file?

According to TNT Sports Argentina, Cristian Pavon (25), courted by OM, could take over the management of the Los Angeles Galaxy MLS franchise.

One less track for OM? Among the many names associated with Marseille on the transfer window, that of Cristian Pavon (25) could soon be removed from the list. According to TNT Sports Argentina, the right winger of Boca Juniors could leave his club to join the United States and engage with Los Angeles Galaxy, where he has already played on loan for one season (2019-2020).

At the end of the contract in a year, the Argentina international does not wish to extend with Boca who could therefore sell him this summer to obtain a transfer fee. This could rise between 7.5 and 8.5 million euros if he joined the United States with a resale percentage of 50%. A possible return to the United States still depends on the legal proceedings weighing on the player, accused of rape by the Argentinian courts last March.

Sampaoli launched Pavon in selection

Despite this American track, OM would still be interested in bringing in Pavon. The hypothesis of an exchange with Dario Benedetto is mentioned by the Argentinian press. Jorge Sampaoli knows well the player to whom he offered his first caps (he has eleven in total) with Argentina. He had even chosen him to participate in the 2018 World Cup, in which he had played four games. He was notably the holder in the round of 16 against France (4-3).

Pavon’s season was marred by a malleolus injury that sidelined him for three months. He resumed competition in April. He came into play Thursday when Boca won against The Strongest (3-0) in the group stage of the Copa Libertadores.
