OM: Ajax ready to sell Tagliafico in the transfer window?
After the recruits of Cédric Bakambu and Sead Kolasinac, Olympique de Marseille continues to be active on the transfer market by returning to the charge on the file of the left side of Ajax Nicolas Tagliafico. But this operation is not yet on the verge of being made since Ajax would only sell their player on one condition, according to Tuttosport.
Indeed, the Argentinian would be at the top of the list of the various players targeted by OM at the end of the transfer window and negotiations with the Dutch club have already been started for a potential transfer. The Marseille club would like to hire the Argentine player in the form of a loan with an option to buy, but the Tuttosport newspaper reveals that Ajax would only accept a dry transfer of their player.
An element that could work in favor of OM is the price revised downwards for Tagliafico, which would now amount to less than 7 million euros. Only, Pablo Longoria’s club is not the only one in the race since Naples is also seeking the Argentinian side, and would even be close to reaching an agreement. OM are therefore warned, they will have to pay the price and overtake the Neapolitans in the race for the transfer of Nicolas Tagliafico.
